Welcome reception scheduled
for President Cunningham Thursday
The Alva Chamber of Commerce and Northwestern will play host to a welcome reception for President Janet Cunningham on Thursday, July 13, on the north lawn of Jesse Dunn. The reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., with introductions and remarks at 7:30 p.m. The Northwestern family and general public are invited to attend.

Through the generosity of our local banks and the support of the Chamber of Commerce, the Rowdy Rangers will serve a complimentary meal of hot dogs, chips and a drink to all in attendance. Seating will be provided for up to 100; however, people are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the evening. The evening will be a casual, picnic-like affair.
