Outstanding Graduates Announced, Spring Reunion Events SET

            The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is proud to announce the 2008 Outstanding Graduates. Honorees will include Willie Spears, a 2000 graduate from Kingsland, Ga., in the Education category; Andy Fosmire, a 1987 graduate from Enid, in Business/Professional; Robert Wharton,  a 1952 graduate from Alva, in Humanitarian; and receiving the award for Recognition, a 2004 graduate from Dallas, Texas, Patrick Crayton.

Each of these individuals has confirmed plans to attend the alumni banquet on April 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom.

            Reservations for the 2008 Alumni Banquet can be made by calling (580) 327-8593 or e-mailing Kelley Burggraf at kyburggraf@nwosu.edu. The deadline to complete reservations is Friday, April 18, at 5 p.m.

            The schedule of events for the 2008 Spring Reunion Weekend is as follows:   

Friday, April 25:

            7:30 pm           Centennial Concert, Combined Band & Choir, Herod Hall

Saturday, April 26:

2:00–5:00 pm  Museum and McKeever School Open

            3:00 pm           Campus Tours (begin in Food Court of Student Center)

            3:30 pm           Come and Go Reception for Graduates of Honored Classes

            4:30 pm           Alumni Choir Concert

            5:00 pm           Bell Ringing Ceremony, Herod Hall, Northwest Lawn

            5:15 pm           Pinning Ceremony, Ranger Room, Student Center
                                                25, 50, 60 and 70-year graduates

            6:00 pm           Special Awards Presentation, Ranger Room, Student Center
