Group visits foundry for pouring of "The Ranger"
| A group from Northwestern Oklahoma State University traveled to Norman on Oct. 15 to visit "The Crucible" foundry where the "The Ranger" statue is being created in bronze. The group went to watch the workers as they poured molten metal that is several thousand degrees hot into molds of different parts of the statue. "The Ranger" is scheduled to be dedicated in ceremonies in Alva on Nov. 13 at 4:30 p.m. |
