PSYCHOLOGY CLUB COLLECTING FOR FOOD BANK
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Psychology Club is sponsoring a non-perishable food drive for the community food bank through Friday, Feb. 22. The food bank provides food for families in the community who need it.
“After the holidays, the food bank gets depleted so we decided to have a spring food drive to help,” said psychology club sponsor, Dr. Mark Davis. “Last year we had a very successful drive, and we have already received many donations from students across campus.”
The Enid and Woodward campuses are helping as well.
There are boxes placed in Herod Hall, the Joe J. Struckle Education Center, and there are boxes with food drive signs on them in many other buildings on campus. Club members will be collecting food items this Thursday at the doubleheader basketball games against Rogers State University beginning at 6 p.m. in Percefull Fieldhouse.
