NORTHWESTERN GROUP TO HOLD CHARITY DODGE BALL TOURNAMENT

Persons from 14 years old and up have the opportunity to participate in a charity dodge ball tournament sponsored by the Student Oklahoma Education Association (SOEA) at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The registration deadline is Monday, Feb. 25.

The tournament, to be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 1, in Percefull Fieldhouse will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Rules call for five-member teams, and the entry fee is $50 per team. There will be four divisions: High School (freshmen through seniors—minimum age 14), College Women, College Men and Adult Co-Ed. A maximum of 12 teams will be allowed in each division.

First place prizes will be awarded in each division. Dr. Beverly Warden, associate professor of education and sponsor of SOEA, said that because this is a charity event, the prizes will consist of T-shirts proclaiming the winners’ championships.

For more information or to register a team, contact Warden at (580) 327-8450 or bjwarden@nwosu.edu.
