CARDINAL KEY HONOR SOCIETY INITIATES NEW MEMBERS
Cardinal Key Honor Society at Northwestern Oklahoma State University recently initiated 11 new members.

Listed by name, hometown and major, they are Kyler Baum, Cleo Springs, accounting; Allison Cunningham, Alva, mass communications; Radona George, Enid, nursing; Jennifer Glascock, Beaver, elementary education; Heather Gottsch, Medford, elementary education; Alyssa Logsdon, Alva, biology; Cecil Midgett, Enid, technical management; Stefanie Overton, Beaver, elementary education; Randi Redinger, Seiling, elementary education; Catherine Wells, Follett, Texas, psychology; and Kacey Zibton, Garland, Texas, biology.
To become a member of Cardinal Key, students must be juniors or seniors, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 and be “a leader of good personality, character and prominence in extracurricular activities.”
The organization’s purposes are to recognize achievement in scholarship and extracurricular activities; to advance personal growth, patriotism and service by affording training for leadership in the college community, and to develop worthy character by application of the cardinal virtues of living.
Cardinal Key was organized in May 1932 as a nationwide honor sorority for college or university women. In 1976, it opened its membership to both men and women.
