February 25, 2008

.
"The Ranger" statue arrived at the Northwestern-Enid campus Monday morning and is now in place and ready for dedication ceremonies planned for Friday at 4 p.m. Harold "H" Holden, noted Western artist who created the statues that now stand in both Alva and Enid, will be at the dedication ceremonies to sign autographs on prints of the original painting he did of "The Ranger." The prints sell for $125 and are available through the Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association Office. They also will be available on Friday in Enid. Interested people also can order a miniature version of the statue, which sells for $2,500. An order form for prints and maquettes can be found by clicking here. The statue in Enid was made possible through the generous donation of Harold and Sue Ann Hamm.
