An evening of cultural diversity through food, fashion and entertainment will take place on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Alva campus Tuesday, Oct. 24, during the World Dinner.

The International Student Association, Spanish Club and Student Government Association are planning the event for 6 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for Northwestern students and children under the age of 12. Tickets are available in Vinson Hall room 121, Fine Arts room 125, from any International Student Association officer or at the door, if not sold out.

“The World Dinner is designed to not only provide the Northwestern students and community with an entertaining event, but also display the intriguing cultures that the international students and staff represent,” said Bryan Pope, international student adviser.

Completely student-led and organized, Pope said the World Dinner will offer a variety of cultural experiences. Authentic cuisine, fashion, music and entertainment will be featured throughout the evening.

“With 52 international students from 24 different countries, audience members can expect a very diverse and interesting program,” Pope said.
