RANGER FANS INVITED TO BASKETBALL TEAM SEND-OFF TO KANSAS CITY

            All friends and fans of Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger basketball are invited to attend a pep rally/send-off as the team begins its journey to Kansas City for the NAIA National Tournament.

            The R-UNIT pep group is sponsoring the event at 11:45 a.m., Monday, March 12, on the lawn in front of Jesse Dunn.

The Ranger band and cheerleaders will be on hand to lead the crowd in stirring up school spirit. Dr. Janet Cunningham, president of the university, and Bob Battisti, head coach, as well as some players will address the crowd.

After a final rendition of “Ride, Rangers, Ride,” the team will depart for Kansas City at noon.

The Rowdy Rangers will be cooking and serving free hot dogs to fans after the send-off.
