FREE RANGER RALLY TOWELS TO BE GIVEN AWAY AT RANGER GAMES THURSDAY

In keeping with the Spirit Week theme this week at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Ranger spirit will be enhanced Thursday because the first 500 people into Percefull Fieldhouse for the Rangers vs. Wayland Baptist University basketball games will receive a free “Ranger Rally Towel.”

Members of the University Relations Office at Northwestern will be handing out the special rally towels as fans enter in the gym.

Three of the four Ranger games left on the schedule will be played at home, so all Ranger fans are encouraged to come out and support the Red and Black and wave the Rally Towels with pride.

The towels are made of a durable white terry cloth product and have a special Ranger design on one side, so they should last and be useable at many Ranger athletic events for years to come.

Now is the time to be even more supportive of the Ranger basketball teams because the men’s team currently is in fourth place in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings and has a great opportunity to earn a berth in the National Athletic Intercollegiate Association National Tournament in March with a strong regular season finish.

In addition to Thursday’s games, the last three games on the regular season schedule include Saturday’s contest with Lubbock Christian University at 2 and 4 p.m. The Sports Hall of Fame ceremonies will take place at halftime of the men’s game. The Rangers then travel to Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee on Thursday, Feb. 22, for games at 6 and 8 p.m. The last game is at home on Saturday, Feb. 24, against Oklahoma City University at 6 and 8 p.m.
