COMMUNITY BAND PLANS REHEARSALS, PUBLIC CONCERT

            The Alva/Northwestern Oklahoma State University Community band has planned rehearsals from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, July 17, and Tuesday, July 25.

            Dr. Kathryn Lindberg, Northwestern director of bands, said the rehearsals would be held in the band room on the third floor of the Fine Arts Building.

            She said that a public concert will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, and that a location will be announced later. Lindberg noted that the theme this year is “Marches, Musicals and Mayhem!”

            Lindberg also said that woodwind and percussion players are needed and that musicians of all ages are welcome.
