UNIQUE ART SHOW SCHEDULED AT NORTHWESTERN-ENID

            Eleven Enid area art teachers will showcase their work at an “Art Teachers as Artists” exhibition and sale at Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Enid. The show will take place in the university’s commons area from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 6, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7. The Friday evening function is a reception with refreshments. Saturday will be a gallery-type show only. Admission is free both days and the public is invited.

            Art teachers participating include Jena Kodesh, Northern Oklahoma College and Enid High School; Kelly Trent, Enid High School; Pam Gilbreath, Waller Junior High; Charla Enns, Longfellow Junior High School; Linda Moore, Emerson Junior High School; Amy Broadbent, Chisholm High School; Cheryl Swanson, Chisholm Middle School; Valerie Koehn, Waukomis schools; Charlotte Williams, Oklahoma Bible Academy; Jim Giles, Northern Oklahoma College; and Lori Hill, St. Joseph’s school in Bison.
