MARK DAVIS COMPLETES TERM ON PROFESSIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS

            Mark Davis, professor of psychology at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, has completed a two-year term on the board of directors of the Oklahoma Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

            While a member of the board, Davis served on the legislative liaison committee that works with the association’s lobbyist to advocate for marriage and family professionals throughout the state.

            “I enjoyed serving our state marriage and family organization,” Davis said. “Working with other leaders in our profession was very rewarding.”

            Davis also recently completed continuing education hours in ethics and supervision in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is designated as an approved supervisor for post-graduate level marriage and family therapist trainees.

            Among the courses he teaches at Northwestern is one designed to educate students about the dynamics of marriage and family life.
