NORTHWESTERN MUSIC DEPARTMENT TO PRESENT CONCERT

            The Northwestern Oklahoma State University music department will present a vocal concert at 3 p.m., Sunday, March 4, in Herod Hall Auditorium.

            Eddie Vandewalker, director of choral and vocal studies, said the event is the first in a series of concerts that will celebrate Oklahoma’s centennial and Northwestern’s 110th birthday.

            The University Singers, Chorale and Concert Choir will participate in the concert that will feature Oklahoma composers.

            The concert is free and the public is invited to attend.

            Vandewalker also said that the Swing Cabaret, originally scheduled for Feb. 13, will now happen on April 3. More details will be announced later.
