NORTHWESTERN TO HOLD CAREER FAIRS FOR STUDENTS

Northwestern Oklahoma State University Career Fairs, originally scheduled for February, will be held Tuesday [April 17] and Tuesday, April 24.

            The first fair will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the Student Center Ranger Room on the Alva campus. The second will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 24, in the Commons Area of the Enid campus.

            Cook said some companies will have job openings, some may have internship opportunities and others will be furnishing general information about their organizations. He invites all students to the fair, but said it is oriented toward juniors and seniors.

            Companies and organizations signed up for the Alva fair include CPI Qualified Plan Consultants Inc., Farmers Insurance Group, HealthBack Home Health, Johnston Enterprises, KWOX/K101 Radio, The Triangle Companies, Startek, Continental Resources Inc., Oklahoma Highway Patrol, The Buckle Inc., Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Enid News & Eagle, Bill Johnson Correctional Center and Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Border Patrol.

            Those scheduled for the Enid fair include Advance Food Company, BKD LLP, Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy Stores, Denny Price Family YMCA, Farmers Insurance Group, Dell Inc., HealthBack Home Health, Hope Outreach Inc., Johnston Enterprises, Vance Air Force Base, Startek, Continental Resources Inc., The Buckley Inc., Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, Office of Personnel Management, Enid News & Eagle and James Crabtree Correctional Center.
