ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MAKING TRAVEL PLANS TO KANSAS CITY

            Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s return to the NAIA Division I Men’s Basketball National Championship tournament in Kansas City means that the Northwestern Alumni Association will be planning a bus trip to support the Rangers.

            Until the tournament bracket is released on March 7, it is not known whether the Rangers will play their opening game on Wednesday, March 14, or Thursday, March 15, making the travel plans a little more complicated for the Alumni Association.

            “We are planning a bus trip, but the departure and return times, lodging options and price all will be dictated by the game time,” said Lizabeth Richey, director of the Alumni Association. “Despite the uncertainty, it is important that we know as soon as possible how many people are interested in making the trip.”

            Richey said interested fans should contact her office at (580) 327-8594 as soon as possible.

            “As soon as the brackets are released, we will be able to put together a solid schedule and get that information to our fans,” Richey said.
