Dr. Janet Cunningham, university president, kicked off the 110/100 Celebration after the parade and unveiled the specially designed logo.

Northwestern is celebrating its 110th anniversary at the same time that Oklahoma is celebrating its 100th year. Dr. Cunningham told the audience of a few of the activities and events already planned for the next 18-months, including that the 2007 Homecoming celebration is Oct. 4, 5 and 6.

A special logo was designed to help identify Northwestern's participation in both the celebration for Oklahoma's Centennial, as well as Northwestern's 110th anniversary.
