NORTHWESTERN TO MOVE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY TO PERCEFULL FIELDHOUSE

The looming threat of heavy rain and a soggy Ranger Field has forced Northwestern Oklahoma State University officials to move Saturday’s commencement ceremonies in Alva to Percefull Fieldhouse.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Doors to Percefull Fieldhouse will open at 8:30 a.m.

Each graduate has been provided six tickets to give to family and friends planning to attend the event. Each guest must have a ticket to enter Percefull Fieldhouse. No additional tickets are available and tickets cannot be purchased.

Any open seats that are remaining at 10:15 a.m. will be released to the general public. The seating capacity in Percefull Fieldhouse for commencement will be approximately 1,800.0.

Overflow seating is available in Herod Hall Auditorium with the ceremony being broadcast live via closed circuit television.

Additional handicapped parking will be available in the parking lot between Percefull Fieldhouse and Vinson Hall.

The reception following graduation will now be held in the Ranger Room of the Student Center.

Graduates are asked to report to the small gym by 9:45 a.m. to form the line of march and receive instructions.
