NORTHWESTERN’S FRESHMAN CONNECTION SUCCESSFUL           

Approximately 150 high school seniors and parents were on the campus of Northwestern Oklahoma State University for the annual Freshman Connection held on Thursday, April 6.

Students were able to enroll for the fall semester, go on campus tours, take placement tests and have the opportunity to eat lunch in the university’s cafeteria.  Future Rangers also visited 32 different booths set up by campus clubs and organizations. 

“The early enrollment session was designed for students to have an informational session to meet with faculty advisers, and take care of housing applications,” Jennifer Goucher, director of recruitment, said.

The parents were able to meet with various administrative staff and faculty concerning their student’s college career.

            “If students were not able to attend this session, a summer Freshman Connection date will be held on July 20 for students choosing Northwestern over the summer,” David Pecha, Dean of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, said.
