NORTHWESTERN STUDENTS, ALUMNA TAKE PART IN OKLAHOMA CITY MARATHON
Four Northwestern Oklahoma State University students and one alumna participated in the Oklahoma City National Memorial Marathon in Oklahoma City Sunday.
Shanna Kneeland, Hooker junior; Jenny Moody, Norman senior; Amanda Blubaugh,
Medford junior; Anna Woods, Buhler, Kan., senior; and Tina Baker, 1995
Northwestern graduate and current post-grad, all finished the 13.1 mile half
marathon.
Of 2,002 women in the half marathon, Kneeland placed 86th with a time of 1:52:55. She was 316th overall.
Moody crossed the line with Kneeland placing her at 87th with the same time. She was 318th overall.
Blubaugh placed 94th among the women with a time of 1:53:09. She was 332nd overall.
Woods came in 156th in the female category and 475th overall. Her time was 1:57:34.
Alumna Baker placed 84th in the women’s category and was 304th overall. Her time was 1:52:19.
There were 1,130 females in the half marathon and 872 males. The average time for the race was 2:19:30 with the female winner coming in at 1:05:58.
