NORTHWESTERN ANNOUNCES 2005 HOMECOMING THEME

            “Rangers…Driving the Future” has been selected as the theme of Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s 2005 homecoming celebration Oct. 13-15.

            The theme was devised by members of the General Homecoming Committee after it was decided that suggestions made by the public would not work, Dr. Mike Knedler, homecoming chairman said.

            Because the theme came from committee members, the $50 savings bond prize for the theme contest will not be awarded.

            The theme must be used by clubs and organizations entering float, spirit sheet sign and dorm decoration contests.

            Homecoming 2005 will kick off with the Miss Cinderella Talent Show on Thursday, Oct. 13. That will be followed by the Miss Cinderella Pageant on Friday night, Oct. 14, and a full day of activities on Saturday, Oct. 15, including the football game with Haskell Indian Nations University.
