NORTHWESTERN RANGER CHEERLEADER TRYOUTS APRIL 29-30 

            Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger cheerleader tryouts for the 2005-2006 squad will take place Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30, in Percefull Fieldhouse. Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

            Following registration, everyone auditioning will begin learning the routine to “Ride, Rangers, Ride,” the Northwestern fight song.

Tryouts are open to all current Northwestern students, as well as incoming freshmen and transfer students.

Open practices for all who would like to attend are Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the small gym located in the Physical Education Building.

Scoring will be based on voice, motions, jumps, stunts and tumbling ability.

Tryouts will consist of stunts, tumbling, fight song and individual cheer.

Words for the cheer and other try out requirements are available on the Ranger cheerleader web site at www.nwosu.edu/athletic/cheerleading.

All individuals will be asked to wear Northwestern attire or something red, black and/or white.

Scholarships will be awarded to all qualifying cheerleaders.
