President’s Leadership Class
Application Information
To apply for PLC at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, contact your high school counselor or the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. An official Northwestern "Pink" Scholarship Application must be completed along with the PLC Scholarship Application. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2012.
Steps
- Fill out the attachment application. The application must be typed or printed in pdf form from the university website. Access it here.
- Send a seven-semester transcript and ACT scores with application. Applicants must meet all standards for admission to Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
- Please include two letters of recommendation. One must be from a high school teacher, high school principal, high school counselor or other faculty member or member of administration. The other letter should be from another person in your community such as a minister, family friend, employer and so forth. Letters of recommendation should include the person writing the recommendations name, position, and relationship to you.
- All applicants should have a pink scholarship application on file at the NWOSU Scholarship Office. The scholarship application should accompany this application or be on file prior to the PLC application deadline.

- Applications are due by February 28, 2012. The application can be hand-delivered no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. If mailed, it must be postmarked no later than Friday, February 24, 2012.
- Finalist must attend an interview at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on March 29th, 30th, April 2nd, or 3rd, 2012. Those applicants selected as finalists will be notified by phone and/or mail in early March 2012.
- Those receiving the President’s Leadership Class Scholarship will be notified in mid-April 2012. The scholarship is for the freshman year only and will consist of a tuition waiver of $1,000.00 and an award of $750.00 to be applied to other university expenses.
