Pre-Radiologic Technology

The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OU HSC) College of Allied Health

offers four bachelor of science degree options in Radiologic Technology. These four areas include Nuclear Medicine, Radiography, Sonography and Radiation Therapy. Each of these programs require sixty-four (64) hours for admission.

HIST 1483 U.S. History to 1877


HIST 1493 U.S. History Since 1877

MATH 1513 College Algebra (and 1613 recommended)

PE&R 4603 Kinesiology/Motor Learning (recommended)

PHYS 1114 General Physics I

POLS 1113 American Federal Government

PSYC 1113 General Psychology

SCOM 1113 Introduction to Speech Communication

SOC 1113 General Sociology

Foreign Language – 2 yrs high school or 2 semesters in college

The following are acceptable prerequisites for the radiologic programs at OU HSC:

* Non-Western Culture options: SOC 3323, REL 2412, or HIST 3713

** Western Culture: many course options available in English, history, sociology or geography. Please see advisor and OU prerequisite finder.

***Art Options: TCOM 2413 or HUM 2533, 2432, 2423, 2413 or 2403
