  • Northwestern Alumni Association to play host to tailgate

    The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association invites Ranger alumni and fans to a free tailgate party prior to the kickoff of the Northwestern football game vs. Southern Nazarene University Oct. 9. The tailgate begins at 5 p.m. in the SNU Football Stadium north parking lot, and the Rangers take on the Crimson Storm at 6 p.m.

  • Albin, 1999 Ranger football team to be inducted into Sports Hall of Fame Feb. 14

    The 2009 class of the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Sports Hall of Fame will include Tim Albin of The Plains, Ohio, and the 1999 NAIA National Championship Ranger Football Team.

    This year’s class will be honored at a luncheon at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, and will be formally inducted at halftime of the Ranger men’s basketball game with Lubbock Christian University that afternoon. The women’s game will tip off at 2 p.m. and the men’s game at 4 p.m.
