Phi Delta Music Society

| More

The Phi Delta Music Society began in the spring semester of 1993. Its purpose is four-fold:

  • to promote the serious study of music
  • to promote the music department and the university
  • to provide a music performance outlet for its members
  • to provide a social outlet for its members

Phi Delta is a music organization open to all students who are currently enrolled in a music ensemble at Northwestern. We provide a number of service projects that help the music program to achieve its goals. In addition, many fun events are planned throughout the year that enable us to bond as a group and provide a fun atmosphere to enrich the college experience.

Service projects:

  • Provide ushers for concerts and performances
  • Service projects in the Fine Arts building
  • Set up/take down concerts and contests
  • Repaint music stands

Fun Activities

  • Homecoming sheet and float contest
  • Lock-ins for initiation of new members
