May 2, 2013
My goodness where has the time gone this year? Seems just like yesterday the 2012-13 school year was beginning and here we are about to send our new graduates out into the world. Best of luck to all graduates, and we're extremely proud of you and your achievements and have a great time at commencement on May 11 at 10:30 a.m. at Ranger Field. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved inside to Percefull Fieldhouse.
We Need Your Help
Students, employees and alumni: We'd love to share the photos and stories of your Northwestern experiences with everyone...including in our recruitment materials. There have been many opportunities to get photos of friends and activities through the school year, and we'd love to show off what you've captured. Please send your photos as soon as possible to firstname.lastname@example.org. You also can tag them with the hashtag #NWMyStory on Twitter and Instagram so they are searchable. There are a few examples out there already to be found, but we'll need lots and lots of them! Thanks for helping us out and sharing your Ranger experience with the world.
In case you haven't heard, mark your calendars now for Homecoming 2013 on Oct. 24-26.
Several individuals are involved in the university's self study process for accreditation with The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Our visit from their team will be in April 2014. In this newsletter, we hope to provide news to you periodically about the process. Today's newsletter marks the first installment of the Self Study Informational Blog and will be archived at www.nwosu.edu/self-study-info-blog-archive.
