The summer term at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is well underway, as are several maintenance projects across campus. A few of the projects include replacing the sidewalks near Vinson Hall and Jesse Dunn and a sidewalk and stair project near the exit to the circle drive by Herod Hall. Other renovations currently underway include remodeling in the Student Center Ranger, Wyatt and Presidents rooms, and in South Hall dormitory. At South Hall, some trees have been removed, stairwells are being painted, some suites are getting sink/showers remodeled, and a storage area is being remodeled to add two new dorm rooms with common sink/shower/toilet area.

The Staff Council also sponsors "Campus Kudos," a public acknowledgement that applauds the efforts of eligible staff members who have displayed an act of kindness above and beyond their job responsibilities.
