April 6, 2011
Where has the Spring Semester gone? The end of the semester will be here before we know it, and we'll be congratulating our graduates at commencement on May 7.
April always seems to be a busy month at Northwestern, and this year is no exception. By taking a look at the Student Events Calendar, there is a number of events scheduled. Assessment Day for all students and employees is today - going on right now. Please take this day seriously and go to answer your respective surveys. For a schedule of activities, please visit www.nwosu.edu/assessment-day-info.
The NWOSU Fine Arts Department will present "Company: A Musical Comedy" in Herod Hall Auditorium April 7-8 at 7:30 p.m. and April 9 at 2 p.m.

Martin Library April 16-30. To see more about the show or for an online registration form, visit www.nwosu.edu/nas-art-show.
On April 11, there are two academic programs - Late Prehistoric Architecture and Mound Construction in northeastern Oklahoma and Poetry Reading with Oklahoma poet Ken Hada.
Freshman Connection is Wednesday, April 13. Several incoming freshmen are expected to be on campus to visit with faculty and students and to enroll, so this is a big day for Northwestern.
Also on that day in Enid at the David Allen Memorial Ballpark will be "Baseball, Hot Dogs and Apple Pie" sponsored by the NWOSU Alumni Association. The Ranger Baseball team will play East Central University at 6 p.m.
Bahama Breakaway is scheduled for April 21.
Keep checking the calendar for what's coming up next, and let's have a great April!
