Dec. 7, 2010

Wow. Hard to believe that the Fall semester is winding down. Good luck to all students and faculty this week during finals!

It's been a good semester for all our students and for our athletics teams. Congrats to you all for your accomplishments.

Congratulations to our Fall Graduates - best of luck to you as go out into the world to represent Northwestern as successful alumni. Please keep in touch and return to visit us often.

Current students - we're so glad you've chosen Northwestern to continue your education, and we look forward to seeing you in January. And thank you parents for entrusting your children to us. We enjoy watching each one of them grow with confidence and knowledge.

Wishing everyone safe travels over the holidays and all best the year can bring in 2011.

Enrollment is open through Jan. 19. You can check out the online schedule of classes for what's available and what classes are full.

If you know of anyone thinking about furthering their education or possibly transferring, be sure to tell them about Northwestern. Here are a few points to consider:

  • Our new Rent-A-Text program could save you hundreds of dollars annually in textbook costs.
  • Northwestern has the most affordable campus housing in America says U.S. News and World Report.
  • U.S. News and World Report says Northwestern graduates have among the lowest student debt ratios in the country.
  • Northwestern has great opportunities for departmental, athletic and participation scholarships.
  • We offer scholarships especially for transfer students.
  • Northwestern provides seamless transfer opportunities in all of our academic programs.

Ornaments on President's Christmas Tree

  • What are your Holiday & Family Traditions?

Sitting around the table in the president's home for the annual Tree Trimming Brunch this past Friday, enjoying good food and conversation, a few of our faculty members were sharing about holiday traditions from different countries and locations. Northwestern enjoys a broad range of cultures and traditions, so this comment area is for you. Please share about your family holiday traditions and how the holidays are celebrated where you are from.
