Fall Break is upon us! So, don't forget that Homecoming Week festivities will begin when you return on Monday, Oct. 19.
"A Century of Ranger Pride" is this year's theme.
We're celebrating our 100th year of having the name "Rangers" as our mascot! And, we're also celebrating the 60th anniversary of our fight song, "Ride, Rangers, Ride" and the Northwestern Alma Mater.
There are a number of events for students, employees and the public beginning on Oct. 19, and various other activities related to Homecoming, so be sure to check the Calendar of Events and the Student Events Calendar often for times, dates and locations. Information on Homecoming can be found a www.nwosu.edu/homecoming.
Alva Merchants are giving discounts to people who have purchased and are wearing the Homecoming Button in their businesses Oct. 19 through the end of business on Oct. 24. For more info on that and what the businesses are offering, click here.
