Publicizing Your Campus News
Just wanted to take a moment to remind you that if you have an event or newsworthy item from your department that you would like to have submitted to local and area media, please send your information to the University Relations Office at least two weeks in advance. To give weekly newspapers time to consider the news, we need to send finished releases by no later than Fridays or Mondays for their Thursday publications. Locally, we need to submit our news as early as possible to allow time for consideration in a Sunday, Wednesday or Friday publication. Thanks.

University Relations staff members will be out of the office attending a conference Saturday through Wednesday, April 4-8.
Open meeting for all employees with non-exempt status
The Northwestern Staff Council will be holding an open meeting at 10 a.m. on April 7 in the Struckle Education Center, room 209, in Alva, and will be televised to both the Enid and Woodward campuses in the Woodward Boardroom 109 and Enid 208. This meeting will include campus updates from David Pecha, vice president for administration, and staff council nominations. All non-exempt employees are encouraged to attend.
