• NWTV Channel 7 is the campus television station that provides a well-rounded media experience in television broadcasting.
• NWTV provides news, information, video and music to students,faculty and staff of Northwestern Oklahoma State University as well as the Alva community on Cable Channel 7.
• NWTV programming can be viewed on our YouTube website at www.YouTube.com/NWTV7
• NWTV produces weekly newscasts during Fall and Spring semesters.
• NWTV produces and airs special programs including the annual Miss Cinderella pageant, Music Department productions, Miss Northwestern, sporting events, commencement and many others.
• NWTV has the capability to go "LIVE" if the situation warrants.
• NWTV facilities are on the cutting edge of technology. Our production are produced in a newly renovated and up-to-date facility with three sets. We make every effort to have the latest equipment for students to work with.

In the studio...

The NWTV Studio houses 3 different sets with commercial quality lighting and four cameras. Three pedestal cameras and one boom camera for special effect.

7 News anchors and reporters are able to utilize various sets during stand-ups and interview segments.

During newscasts anchors and reporters move around the studio to various sets in order to make the show more visually appealing.

         Final preperations take place moments before 7 News goes on the air.

All on-air and crew positions are filled by students. Some students are on staff and get paid to do their job while they learn.

Ashton Ghaemi is an anchor/reporter for 7 News. Ashton is a senior at Northwestern and is very involved in campus activities. She is a member of CORE, NWOSU Choir, OBEA, SPJ and theatre.

Austin Sterling is an anchor/reporter for 7 News. Austin is a junior at Northwestern. He is active in the communication department and is a member of OBEA and SPJ.

Becky Burke serves as the 7 News Sports anchor/reporter. She is a junior at Northwestern. Becky is involved in OBEA, SPJ, theatre and CORE.

Joe Perez is a junior at Northwestern and serves 7 News as the director and entertainment reporter.Joe is involved in theatre, OBEA, SPJ and CORE.

Xin Xin Liu is a junior at Northwestern and is the newscast producer for 7 News. Xin Xin also reports for 7 News and serves as the news director. Xin Xin is very involved on campus in SPJ & OBEA.
