Twenty Northwestern Oklahoma State University nursing graduates will receive their traditional pins in a ceremony at 6 p.m., Friday, May 8, in Herod Hall Auditorium.
Kammie Monarch, RN, JD, who works for the Oklahoma Health Care Work Force Commission in Oklahoma City, will be the guest speaker for the ceremony. Monarch received her juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University.
Dr. Carole McKenzie, chair of the Division of Nursing, will present the pins. All faculty will participate in the ceremony and reciting with the students the Modern Florence Nightingale Pledge.
