High school seniors and parents will be on campus at Northwestern Oklahoma State University for Freshman Connection Wednesday, April 14. This day is designed for students who are planning to attend the university in fall 2010.
Morning and afternoon sessions will begin in the Student Center. Students will have the opportunity to see the campus, meet with faculty and enroll early for the fall semester. The morning session begins at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at noon. The afternoon session will begin at 1:30 p.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m.
The sessions include registration, campus welcome, advisement time, optional campus tours and a parent panel in the morning. Lunch in the cafeteria may be purchased for $5 per person.
Before students can enroll they must complete an application for admission and pay the $15 application fee, provide a copy of their seven-semester high school transcript and provide proof of ACT scores.
“Anyone considering attending Northwestern should attend Freshman Connection,” Matt Adair, director of recruitment, said. “It is an incredible opportunity to meet with an adviser, get questions answered and put together your college course schedule.”
