Northwestern Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI) invite all local and area residents to donate blood on Oct. 7-8 in the Student Center Ranger Room. The blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is sponsored by the President’s Leadership Class.
“This is the first blood drive of the 2014-2015 school year, so we need all students, faculty, staff and friends to donate in order to reach and exceed our drive goal of 240 (units of blood),” Rachel Stewart, special events coordinator, said. “It is a very rewarding feeling to know that you have a part in saving lives.”
A pre-sign in table will be set up in the Student Center Friday, Oct. 3, and Monday, Oct. 6, for students to make an appointment to donate. When donating blood, remember to bring a photo ID and eat a good breakfast or lunch.
For more information or to volunteer, contact Stewart at (580) 327-8178 or email@example.com.
