Northwestern sweeps Huston-Tillotson in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State University softball team swept Huston-Tillotson 8-5 and 5-3 on Friday afternoon. The games were played at Oklahoma City University.

In game one,  the Lady Rangers trailed 5-3 in the seventh inning but got two huge home runs en route to a 5-run inning. Alyssa Taylor's 3-run homer gave Northwestern a 6-5 lead. Kellie Mason added a 2-run homer to give the Lady Rangers a 3-run cushion.

Mason came in and picked up the win in relief for the Lady Rangers (15-8).

The Lady Rangers took game two 5-3. Ashton Fitzgerald started both games for head coach Cody Hooper's bunch and was able to pick up the win in game two.

Mason picked up the save.
