    February 6, 2013 -- The social work program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University has been awarded a $20,000 grant by the Child Welfare Professional Enhancement Program (CWPEP) to construct a Social Work Education and Training Center in Jesse Dunn 307 to be completed in the summer of 2013.

  • Northwestern social work students accepted into masters program

    Six students who recently graduated from the Social Work program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University have been accepted into the advanced standing Master of Social Work program (MSW) at the University of Oklahoma (OU). The students include: Sherie Byrd and Sarah Thompson of Woodward; Christina Walker, Vera Featherston and Brittany McLain, Alva; and Shari Moore, Enid.
