September 27, 2012 -- The Social Work Program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is preparing for the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) Commission on Accreditation (COA) Site Visit set for Oct. 3.

Six students who recently graduated from the Social Work program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University have been accepted into the advanced standing Master of Social Work program (MSW) at the University of Oklahoma (OU). The students include: Sherie Byrd and Sarah Thompson of Woodward; Christina Walker, Vera Featherston and Brittany McLain, Alva; and Shari Moore, Enid.

Kylene Rehder, social work program director and chair of the Department of Social Work, represented Northwestern Oklahoma State University at the Oklahoma Social Work Educators Forum held at the University of Oklahoma this month.
