Northwestern Rodeo Team gains four incoming freshmen

The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rodeo Team has gained four high school seniors, who have committed to compete for the Rangers in the fall.  All four, alongside their parents, have negotiated a scholarship with Rodeo Coach Stockton Graves and signed a letter of intent. 

Amber Miller of Laverne has committed to the rodeo team to compete in barrel racing, goat tying and breakaway roping.  Miller’s parents are Ronnie and Misty Miller.

 Taylor Munsell

Ashton Johnson of Mt. Ayr, Iowa, attended Mt. Ayr High School and has committed to compete for the rodeo team in the breakaway and goat tying events.  Johnson’s parents are Jim Johnson and Marci Bjustrom.

Brayden Tanner of Alex will be competing in steer wrestling and team roping.  He attended Alex High School and was raised by his mother, Michelle Castillo, and uncle, Justin Anderson.

Taylor Munsell of Arnett attended Vici High School and has committed to Northwestern to compete in the breakaway and team roping events.  Her parents are Rusty Munsell and Tammy Hunter.
