  • Northwestern recognized for contributions to the 2010 Census

    Northwestern Oklahoma State University received the 2010 Census Partner Appreciation Award in recognition of the contributions to the success of the Census. Christi Vickers, service learning coordinator, was on hand to accept the award. Dr. Robert M. Groves, director of the U.S. Census Bureau, was in attendance and acknowledged Northwestern’s support of the 2010 Census.

  • Northwestern playing host to 'Be Counted' site for U.S. Census April 15-16

    Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva is playing host to a 2010 U.S. Census “Be Counted” site Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Student Center. Households that return their forms after Friday, April 16, may still be visited by census workers, who begin going door-to-door to collect census responses on May 1.
