Northwestern plays host to food drive

Members from the Staff Council and Social Workers Association of Tomorrow (SWAT) at Northwestern Oklahoma State University are teaming up to organize a canned food drive Thursday, Nov. 7 through Thursday, Nov. 21.

Canned food or non-perishable goods may be brought to the Alva, Enid or Woodward campuses.  Boxes for drop off will be in the following locations on the Alva campus, Fine Arts, FA126; Jesse Dunn, JD219; Herod Hall, HH117; Library, front foyer and Industrial Education, IE125.  For drop off locations in Enid find the SWAT bulletin board downstairs or the Social Work bulletin board upstairs in the commons area.  The Woodward campus location is the main office or the 140 hallway.

“It’s the time of year to be thankful for all our blessings and to remember those not as fortunate,” said Chauncy Durham, ITV assistant coordinator and Staff Council chair.

All food will be donated to local food banks in time for Thanksgiving.

For more information contact Durham at or (580)213-3155.
