NORTHWESTERN MEN’S BASKETBALL SIGNS TYLER INMAN

NORTHWESTERN MEN’S BASKETBALL SIGNS TYLER INMANTyler Inman is the latest recruit that Northwestern Oklahoma State University head men’s basketball coach Andrew Brown has signed for the upcoming 2009-10 season.

 

A 6-3 wing, Inman joins the Ranger basketball team via Savanna High School. While at Savanna, Tyler averaged 17 points and eight rebounds per game last season. He was a 2009 OBCA All-State selection and Conference Player of the Year. Inman was dubbed an all-conference performer for three consecutive seasons and named to the conference all-tournament team.

 

“Tyler is a player with very good shooting touch, good range on his perimeter shot and jumps well,” remarked Brown. “He needs time to get used to playing in a much quicker environment, which a redshirt year will really benefit him.”

 

In addition to Inman’s on court accolades, he was also excelled in the classroom. Inman was the Valedictorian, Senior Class President and Student Council Vice President. He was a member of the National Honor Society and Oklahoma Honor Society. Last season, Inman was a member of the OBCA Academic All-State squad.
