Northwestern Libraries holding photo contest; winning photos to be permanently displayed

March 30, 2012

 Library Photo Contest

J.W. Martin Library at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is holding a photography contest open to all with selected photos to be permanently displayed in the library on the Alva campus. Submissions must be a part of a three photo series, and the entry deadline is Monday, April 16.

Photos must be high resolution and submitted in digital format. The resolution of the digital camera should not have less than four megapixels. Photos of a lesser resolution cannot be accepted.

By submitting an entry, the photographer gives the Northwestern Libraries the right to use all entries in any format or application, as needed. All entries may be considered for display in the library; however, only one set of photos entered will be chosen for the top prize. Permanent recognition also will be displayed with all work that is selected.

Not only does the chosen individual gain recognition, but also will receive a $50 Amazon gift card, and the second place winner will win a $25 gift card.

Photos may be delivered in person to the Alva Library, submitted on a jump drive, cd or via email to Angelia Case, instructional media technician, at arcase@nwosu.edu, or Melissa Turco, library assistant, at mrturco@nwosu.edu. Contact Case at (580) 327-8577 or Turco at (580) 327-8571 with questions.

Visit www.nwosu.edu/library for submission applications.
