Northwestern Oklahoma State University, in conjunction with the Oklahoma Blood Institute (OBI), will play host a blood drive on the Alva campus Wednesday, Oct. 8, and Thursday, Oct.9.
This event will be held in the Student Center Ranger Room in the Northwestern Student Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
All donors receive a free “Donor Hero” t-shirt and refreshments. Northwestern students who donate blood will receive bonus point in participating classes.
This event is for a great cause and the community, Northwestern faculty, staff and students are encouraged to donate if possible. This year’s goal is to have 402 pints of usable blood donated.
For more information about the drive at the Alva campus, please contact Denise Bay, special events coordinator, at (580) 327-8178 or email@example.com. Also, to volunteer for this event, contact Bay. Volunteers are still needed for both days.
