ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State soccer team suffered their fourth straight scoreless game and second consecutive loss as the Rangers evened there Sooner Athletic Conference record to 1-1 with a 5-0 loss to Oklahoma Baptist.
Oklahoma Baptist used a pair of goals in the first half and three more in the second half in rout to the 5-0 win.
Northwestern shot just twice in the first period and six times in the second half with no shots on goal. Ashley Guinn got off four of the Rangers eight shots.
The Bison fired off 33 total shots.
Kelsey Archer picked up 14 saves as 19 of OBU’s shots were on goal.
Northwestern (1-5-1, 1-1) will host SAC rival Rogers State (4-1) at the ARC Ranger Soccer Field on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. before hitting the road for the next four games.
