Northwestern alumni to host Baseball, Hot Dogs & Apple Pie

On Wednesday, April 13, Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to watch Northwestern take on East Central University in a baseball matchup at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid. The 6 p.m. game is part of Northwestern’s sixth annual Enid-area alumni spring event, Baseball, Hot Dogs & Apple Pie.

The Rowdy Rangers, a Northwestern athletics booster group, will begin serving hot dogs and apple pie at 5:30 p.m. Prior to the game, current Ranger players will recognize Northwestern baseball alumni in attendance with a gift. Dale Swiggett, baseball alumnus class of 1966, will throw the first pitch, and Carmen Sander, Miss Northwestern 2011, will sing the National Anthem.

Regular ballpark admission applies. The event is hosted by the Greater Enid Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Task Force, which includes Brooke Aldridge, Eldon Ames, Bill Baker, Lori Coonrod, Bonnie Espinoza, Dr. Cheryl Evans, Delena Hardaway, Larry Kiner, John Martin, Lizabeth Richey, Daron Rudy and Dennis Wilson.
