'Red Tie Affair' for alumni, friends to feature university choral groups March 8, Woodward

Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to wear school colors to A Red Tie Affair on the campus of Northwestern Woodward Tuesday, March 8. The Greater Woodward Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Task Force will host a reception for alumni and friends in the LaVern Phillips Executive Conference Room at 6:45 p.m. before attendees enjoy a special 7:30 p.m. performance by the University Singers and University Chorale.

The University Singers and University Chorale will present “Of Virtue . . . and Vice,” a program of works that juxtaposes music of lofty purpose with works celebrating more base pursuits.

Guests will have the opportunity to meet university president Dr. Janet Cunningham , and a drawing will be held for a Northwestern gift basket. Admission to the event is free and open to the public. The Northwestern Woodward campus is located at 2007 34th St. in Woodward.

The Greater Woodward Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Task Force includes Karen Stephenson, Ashley Ferguson, Trudy Hoffman, Michelle Williamson, Bart Bouse, Kevin Evans and Dr. Deena Fisher.
