Northwestern Foundation Release

Nominations will be accepted until 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7 for the annual John Barton Distinguished Teaching and Service Award. The award carries an honorarium and a plaque, which will be presented to the winner at the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Faculty and Staff Recognition Nov. 15 on the Alva campus.

The nominee must be a full-time employee of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with at least a half-time teaching load. The nominee must also exemplify distinguished teaching and administrative leadership. Only one nomination may be submitted by an individual.
