    March 21, 2017 – The 2017 Scholarship Drive concluded March 8 as Northwestern staff, faculty and community members tallied their total raised funds.

  • Northwestern's Doctor of Nursing Practice program receives HLC approval

    February 13, 2017 – Northwestern Oklahoma State University received notification on Jan. 30 from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) that its Institutional Actions Council has approved the university’s request to offer the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, the final piece needed to offer its first doctoral-level program.

  • Northwestern's spring semester student teachers enter area schools

    February 6, 2017 – Northwestern Oklahoma State University students leave the university with the knowledge to succeed in a particular field. In their final semester, 22 senior education students have entered area schools to gain hands-on experience through student teaching.

  • Guthrie Scottish Rite Scholarship awarded to three Northwestern seniors

    February 2, 2017 – Three Northwestern Oklahoma State University elementary education seniors were awarded the Guthrie Scottish Rite Scholarship given by the Guthrie Scottish Rite Charitable and Educational Foundation.

    June 15, 2015--A former member of the faculty and veteran educator has been named as the new Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

  • Visiting Writers' Series to feature Abigail Keegan

    March 15, 2012 -- As the second speaker in the Visiting Writers Series sponsored by the English, Foreign Language, and Humanities Department at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Abigail Keegan will read poetry on Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m. Held in the J.W. Martin Library, Keegan also will have copies of her latest book,“Depending on the Weather,” available for purchase and signing at the reading.

  • New faculty begin at Northwestern

    Northwestern Oklahoma State University welcomes six new faculty members to campus to begin the 2010-2011 school year. Two new faculty members have been hired in the School of Arts and Sciences, and the remaining four will work for the School of Professional Studies.
